Stylist, cat Mom + former World’s Cheerleader.
I didn’t choose this career, it chose me! Growing up, I always had some doll’s hair in my hands. I put on all my Christmas lists, “several mannequin heads,” and begged my mom for them so that I could braid, cut, style and color. Any chance I got I would pretend play “hair salon.” Anytime someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would easily answer “hairdresser.” Being a hairstylist to me means helping people discover their most beautiful and confident selves. When I step behind the chair I plan to make magic every single time – not just with the hair but with the experience. My clients set aside the time so that I can help them put the chaos of life behind them and prioritize self care. It’s like a personal safe zone where you can be heard, connect with another and leave feeling rejuvenated and excited for your next visit.
